Rebecca Kruse is a seasoned executive leader with more than two decades of experience driving operational excellence, strategic growth, and organizational transformation across the financial services and payments industries.
As President and Chief Operating Officer of ICBA Payments, Rebecca led a cross-functional team of senior and executive vice presidents spanning finance, operations, product, and marketing. She was a key voice in board meetings and industry events, shaping the company’s strategic vision and operational execution.
Prior to her role at ICBA Payments, Rebecca spent over a decade at Sandy Spring Bank, now Atlantic Union Bank, which was a $14 billion community bank with more than 1,000 employees. Rising through promotions, she led multiple operational departments, implemented efficiency-driven solutions, and reduced card fraud losses. Her leadership earned her more than 20 company awards for excellence and innovation.
Rebecca holds an MBA in Business Administration from Hood College, where she graduated with a 3.97 GPA, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus, graduating cum laude.
